Right off the Pacific Coast Highway in California sits a little wooden house flying a pride flag, lined with butterfly chairs. It’s Rainbow Land, the home and recording studio of Miley Cyrus, who’s about to transform herself yet again. Cyrus has already begun her transformation with her new song titled “Malibu” which was released yesterday along with a music video sporting long ombre hair, vintage style clothing and running along the coast of Malibu Beach.
Cyrus is breaking out yet again to transform herself and her career, she stated in an interview “I like to surround myself with people that make me want to get better, more evolved and open.” Cyrus shares her property with her seven dogs, two pigs and two ponies, and her Australian fiance actor Liam Hemsworth.
Yesterday, May 11, she released her new single “Malibu” a breezy pop rock single which has already hit No. 1 on the charts across the world. The upcoming album this year is a more DIY up to date of Miley, she wrote all of the melodies herself. “This is Miley reaching into her roots more than I have ever heard” her father Billy Ray Cyrus said in press interviews.
After President Donald Trump was elected, Cyrus who supported presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, launched Hopeful Hippies part of her Happy Hippie foundation, a non-profit organization that encourages people to turn their emotion into action. Cyrus has recreated herself once again digging into her roots and her beliefs more than ever. She seems truly happy with herself and she wants to create real change with her actions and her music.
I can’t wait to see what Miley has in store with her new album and tour and herself overall this year.
